4] It should looks like below at this stage. It's okay to have uneven edges and you may also thicken the outlines of the egg shape, after all we will trim it off later.
5] Use scissors and cut the PVC sheet to Egg shape. If you would like to have a perfect Egg shape, download and print out a copy of the Blank template with only keylines, then tape the PVC sheet to the template and cut to shape by following the outline.
To have a better control in cutting to shape, snip 4 sides of the PVC sheet first. This way it's easier to get a good oval shape instead of trying to cut at 1 go.

Tips:
Use only Permanent Markers pen and let your child choose their favorite colors!
You can get PVC sheets from any craft and art supplies shop. Or recycle from used packaging boxes or book covers.
Fill with light colors first, then follow by darker shades so that the lighter colors do not get blends with the darker colors.
Outline with black color last will helps to tidy up the coloring edges and frame the patterns to make it more contrast. It's okay that the black outline is broader in width and uneven, as you will cut it out at the end.
Do let each color dry completely before filling with the next color, otherwise it can get messy when the inks smudge. It is best to lay a piece of paper on top of your table to prevent smudging the ink on the table surface before starting this craft.
You can touch up and apply more colors as many times you like, just ensure that you let it dry each time.
Let the kids practice their motor skills by cutting out the Egg. It's is okay if it's not in exact in size & shape, just let the kids have fun and enjoy the crafting process. If you really wants a perfect Egg shape, you can download and print a copy of the plain Egg template, lay PVC over and secure the corners with tape first, then follow the guideline and cut it out.
The end result is a beautiful faux stained glass sun catcher you can hang up anywhere.
