Recommend using cardstock or a lightweight cardstock at around 160gsm-220gsm. Normal printer paper will buckle and flatten after you shape it.
You’ll need around 10 strips of cardstocks for each pumpkin. The denser the pumpkin the more strips you’ll need or use lesser strips to give it a more open feel.
A4 size cardstock make one pumpkin at around 13cm in diameter. A3 size cardstock make one pumpkin at around 18cm in diameter. You will need 2 sheets of A5 size cardstock make one pumpkin at 9cm.
You may increase the width of each strip to 5cm wide to make a bigger pumpkin from A3 size cardstock.
If your printer is unable to feed thick cardstock for the leaf template, you may simply print on normal paper, tape the corners on top of a green cardstock and then cut according to the printed shape.
You may use Silk Artificial Leaves and twig to replace paper.
